Mission Statement

Our mission is to unite computers stores across Canada to appear as a national Canadian computer retail chain while maintaining their individuality. These computer retailers will be able to provide the much needed Canadian assembled quality PC with a warranty network that stretches from coast to coast that can improve their competitive edge. And at the same time have our dealers provide this PC, parts and peripherals and their own custom built PC,s at competitive prices while still maintaining profitable margins.

Recognition

In order to compete against a certain giant company, computer stores need the recognition and advertising that is no longer practical on an independent level.  AVRO Computers is much like a car dealership, giving the advantage national advertising of a branded system which can be available across the nation at any dealership displaying the sign AVRO Computers.  With AVRO Computers becoming a household name, AVRO dealers will be able to satisfy those business consumers who want a name that can be support at different ends of their branch offices. Home consumers can learn to recognise the AVRO name that friends and relatives have purchased in other cities and pay a price that has evolved from bulk buying of all the dealerships across Canada. And on top of it all, these consumers can take pride in purchasing a high quality Canadian assembled PC.   

Buying Power

Dell has an estimated 52% of North America's computer sales while the big stores like staples, Future Shop and London Drugs share the balance with the independent stores. Upon recognising these figures, competing against other independents is a small piece of the pie. Canadian computer stores need the power of bulk buying to survive in the future.  

The Estimated savings for dealers will very depending on their current size of orders.

1.1.1. The smaller companies will realize the savings immediately. The buying power of AVRO Computers Ltd. already surpasses the abilities of these smaller locations.

1.1.2. The mid size companies will show some change as purchasing volume increases.

1.1.3. The Larger companies will realize smaller margin increases and may take longer to take affect. For these larger companies the margins may not be as big a difference, but due to their volume, even 4% will show greatly in the dollar figure

The AVRO Computer

The current AVRO Computer is Intel® based Pentium 4 with multiple options.  Intel has provided a vehicle which can support national warranty. Also Intel® is the most widely accepted processor installed in 80% of the world's servers and workstations.  For those consumer's wishing an alternative the AVRO name may bring them into a dealership where a custom build can be provided locally but still with the buying power of AVRO Computers.

National Advertising

With AVRO's national advertising campaign, AVRO dealers will receive benefits that were once reserved for the big box manufactures. One stores advertising dollar has very little impact, However many stores grouped together we become unstoppable.

The days of dreaming of what could be are over, now is the opportunity of what can be.

Again Intel has come through for us with their co-op advertising added to 1/2 of 1% of the total purchases of our dealers adds up to a phenomenal amount.

The AVRO Warranty

As a new dealer of the AVRO PC your customers will enjoy a quality Canadian made computer with all the benefits of a national name brand computer including a coast to coast warranty handled by other AVRO dealers across the country. The current warranty is a 3 year system warranty.

This provides your customers with more flexibility when the time comes to purchase their next PC.

Sign Change Day

Sign Change Day is scheduled for August 15, 2003. At this time stores across Canada will add to their signs the "AVRO COMPUTERS" logo along with their current store name as a dealer. The timing is for the back to work / school September rush. From now till then we have some bugs to iron out and the cost of a license for the dealership is reduced, once we are in force and recognized the price will go up. 

Reserve Your Zone

AVRO Computers is limiting one licenses per 100,000 people in their area this allows positive recognition with out over saturating the market, to protect your zone you may register you area today.
